Over the span of 35 years, I have worked for several IT and digital companies serving the public sector and have now decided to start to my own company, Midnight Sun Consulting. The name of the company was based on the lingering sun above the horizon during the summertime, particularly in the Northern Latitudes. But for me it also represents the light at the end of the tunnel when agencies and companies undertake transformational initiatives with the goal of improving how services are being delivered to their customers and citizens.

I have worked for several major system integrators which include IBM, PwC Consulting, and SAIC. In my role for these companies, I started out as a management consultant and worked my way to Partner, leading a portfolio of digital projects through the full system lifecycle. Additionally, I have served in an Account Management role to build a pipeline, develop solutions, bid and capture contracts that have led to the deployment of mission critical services. My work on digital solutions have involved the latest cloud, analytics, AI, low code/code, and related digital technologies.

I have also worked for companies whose core set of services were not digital but realized that to maintain relevancy in the marketplace, they needed to increase their digital capabilities. I have been part of leadership teams working to create strategic plans that led to scaling of digital capabilities, including merger and acquisition activities.

As President of Midnight Sun Consulting Services, it would be my pleasure to support organizations — governmental agencies and companies — in their digital transformation journeys, whether it is building organizational capacity to scale digital or taking an innovation and determining how to market and build a business that serves the mission of the public sector.
